Summerville Police Department spoke to resident, Jerry Crowe this week regarding his concern over some money that he loaned to another person.

Jerry Crowe reported that he had loaned $300 to Lacey Evans back in March, with the understanding that she would repay the loan on the first of April. Evans did not repay that loan and then asked to borrow another $100 on April, 19th. Several days later Crowe requested his loans to be repaid and Evans asked him, “what money?”

Crowe was advised by Officers that this was a civil matter, and not a criminal one, however he wanted a report placed on file.
