Summerville Police responded to a call of suspicious activity last week, and ended the call with no one in a good mood.
Tabatha Harris reported to Officers that 2 unknown people had been seen entering her 7th Ave residence. When Officers arrived on scene they met with Harris, and two others identified as Ledelphiia Wiggins and John Martin. Tabatha Harris stated that she rented the residence on 7th Ave but is currently staying at a Senior Dr. address. After leaving the house on 7th Ave, Harris received a call stating that two people had entered the home.
Ledelphiia Wiggins and John Martin both stated that they had called the out of town landlord for the 7th Ave residence after being informed that the door to the residence was open, and agreed to check it out for the landlord. While both Wiggins and Martin stated that the door to the home was open when they arrived, Harris was certain that she had secured the door. Officers on scene found it difficult to get much information out of anyone, as both parties were arguing.
The landlord was contacted and stated that permission was given to Wiggins and Martin to check the residence. This upset Harris, who asked Officers if a call needed to be placed to Captain Harold Tucker and Judge Tracy Maddux about the situation. When the Officer asked Mr. Martin to calm head, Martin told the officer to go ahead and shot him in the back of the head, he knows this is what he wants to do.
The issue was resolved with no arrests and a report was placed on file.
