The Georgia Republican Party is holding their annual convention at Jeckyll Island this weekend, but some of the state’s most well-known Republicans are probably going to get a cold reception from convention goers, and some aren’t showing up at all.

The Chattooga County Republican Party earlier this year, in its county convention, passed toughly-worded resolutions condemning Governor Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger over last year’s General Election that saw a Democrat win the state’s electoral votes for the first time since Bill Clinton’s first term in office.   Other local Republican Parties have passed similar resolutions.   The disgruntled Republicans believe that the General Election was “stolen” from former-President Donald Trump, despite there being no substantiated evidence of wide-spread voter fraud in Georgia.

Kemp is expected to address the state convention this weekend, but Lt. Geoff Duncan and Secretary of State Raffensperger aren’t even showing up.
