When students in Cedar Bluff, Alabama return to school at the end of the summer, their school resource officer from the Cherokee County, Alabama Sheriff’s Office will be driving an unusual patrol car.

SRO Sgt. Jordan Kelley will return to Cedar Bluff School driving a Jaguar.

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, this unusual car was not purchased by the Sheriff’s Office, but was awarded by the Court after being seized by investigators working a criminal case. The car was part of a vehicle theft scheme where the VIN plates were changed on multiple vehicles.

Sheriff Shaver said, “we expect that this may be the most exciting patrol vehicle around.”
