A Rome man was arrested in Chattooga County after he fled from a traffic stop on Martha Berry Boulevard this week.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 43-year old Terrance Jermaine Osborne refused verbal commands to exit his vehicle before taking off, eventually reaching speeds of more than 100 miles an hour.
He ran the red light at Martha Berry and Redmond Road.
Osborne’s vehicle was finally stopped in Chattooga County.
Osborne is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, obstruction of officers, reckless driving, and other traffic violations including a violation of Georgia’s “Super Speeder” law.
