Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton says her office has been dealing with computer issues this week.

Hampton said on Wednesday, “If you’ve visited my office this week, you’ve likely noticed that things are running extremely slow. We have had network problems due to slow internet all week, and have someone coming to work on the issues Friday. I expect to be running very slow on Thursday, and we will be down for a couple of hours Friday morning, around 10:00-12:00. Thank you all for bearing with us; we are so hopeful that this fix will be a permanent one.”
