Three Chattooga County residents were arrested in neighboring Cherokee County, Alabama last week on various charges related the theft and burglary.

According to arrest records from the Cherokee County Detention Center, forty-three-year-old Crystal Starr Tucker of Menlo was charged with theft of property in the fourth degree.  Meanwhile Tracy Harold Stephens, age fifty-one of Lyerly and Caitlin Nicole Ward, age thirty-four of Lyerly were both charged with third degree burglary along with criminal mischief in the third degree.

Stephens and Ward were also charged with attempting to elude law enforcement.  Stephens was additionally charged with a bond revocation and Ward was charged with being AWOL from Community Corrections.
