A forty-five-year-old Chattooga County sex offender was arrested last week on charges of child molestation out of Floyd County.

Arrest reports from the Floyd County Jail say that George Clements Gilham was arrested last week and charged with molesting an underage girl.

Gilham was sentenced to prison for twenty years in 1997 for molesting a child in Floyd County in 1995.

Gilham’s last known address according to the GBI’s Sex Offender Registry was 50 Plum Street in Trion.
