AdventHealth Redmond officially broke ground this weekend on its new AdventHealth Redmond Heart and Vascular Institute, a 40,000 square-foot medical office building slated to open in Spring 2026.
The facility promises to solidify AdventHealth Redmond’s position as a regional leader in cardiac care, bringing a comprehensive range of specialized services under one roof. “We want to be a top 1% cardiovascular care provider in the country,” declared Isaac Sendros, president and CEO of AdventHealth Redmond and AdventHealth Georgia, at the groundbreaking ceremony. “This facility will enable us to care for the increasing number of people across our region who need access to quality care and it will further our legacy as the region’s heart care leader.” The new institute will house a variety of key services, including:

* Structural Heart Care
* Electrophysiology/Device Clinic
* AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiothoracic Surgery at Rome
* Advanced Heart Care clinic
* Cardiac Rehab
* Outpatient Cardiac Testing
* Lab Services
* Provider Offices
The expansion reflects AdventHealth’s commitment to providing accessible and cutting-edge healthcare to the community. “Now more than ever, it is critical for our community to know they have a choice for their health care services,” added Sendros, “and it’s our honor to continue to provide an outstanding experience for the people who choose AdventHealth.”
Adding to the excitement of the event was the presence of Erik Jones, driver of the #43 AdventHealth NASCAR, who raced at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday. His participation underscored AdventHealth’s dedication to promoting heart health and overall wellness within the community.
