An Armuchee man was arrested over the weekend on a felony count of tampering with evidence, alongside misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass, simple assault, and theft by taking, following a bizarre incident involving a security camera.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 40-year-old Greg Alan Graboski was taken into custody after allegedly being observed on a victim’s security camera at a residence on Daniel Road. Reports indicate the footage showed Graboski licking the camera.

The situation escalated when Graboski is accused of taking the and destroying the camera, valued at $120. Further allegations detail that he then made three holes in the wall of the 30-year-old female victim’s home and subsequently took the victim’s phone.

Authorities state that Graboski then deleted a Wyze phone application, which was used to view the camera’s feed, from the victim’s phone. This action, reports indicate, was an attempt to prevent his arrest, leading to the felony tampering with evidence charge.

Graboski is also accused of acting in a manner that placed the victim in fear for her safety, resulting in the simple assault charge.

He is currently charged with felony tampering with evidence, and misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass, simple assault, and theft by taking. Graboski remains in custody at the Floyd County Jail.
