A 60-year-old Armuchee woman faces multiple charges this week after allegedly spraying a Comcast worker with a water hose while yelling racial slurs, later resisting police and continuing her behavior at a local hospital.

According to reports, Robin Evette Easterling, 60, of Armuchee, was arrested after an incident involving a Comcast employee. Police state that Easterling allegedly sprayed the worker with a water hose and directed racial slurs at him.

When officers arrived at the scene, Easterling reportedly directed racial slurs at the responding officer as well. She then allegedly attempted to avoid officers by going inside her home and closing the door.

As officers attempted to place her in handcuffs, Easterling reportedly fought with them, causing numerous visible scratches to an officer.

Following her arrest, Easterling was transported to a local hospital where she allegedly continued to use “fighting words” and racial slurs toward the officer and medical staff.

Easterling has been charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, felony obstruction, and simple battery against a police officer. She remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
