Mr. Benjamin Franklin "Benny" Perry passed away on Friday morning at the local nursing home. Mr. Perry was a well-known local businessman in Chattooga County. He had operated the former "Benny's Tri-Sum Foods" in Trion and was the former mayor of the Town of Trion. Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 2 PM at the Trion United Methodist Church. Arrangements are being handled by Mason's Funeral Home.
