A crane overturned on Friday afternoon in Rome and struck a vehicle on Turner McCall Boulevard, reportedly injuring one person.
According to Rome police Lt. Chris DeHart:
Two people were in the bucket of the crane working when it overturned. One person was injured and taken to a local hospital. The other person in the crane appeared to be uninjured.
The crane was being used at the construction of Hampton Inn. The crane is blocking Turner McCall Boulevard.
The person in the car struck by the crane appeared to be uninjured.
