Expected guests include Justin Kelley with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s office. MRS. NANCY WHITE MCDANIEL, age 90, of Ellen Street, Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. She was born in Lyerly, Georgia, on April 23, 1931, to the late Wallace and Sarah McLeod Smith. Mrs. McDaniel was a member of the Pennville Community Church and for over thirty years was a nurse at Chattooga Hospital. She had a creative spirit and enjoyed painting, crafts, and ceramics. She served as a Girl Scout leader , was a dedicated military wife, traveling extensively through Europe with four children, enriching their cultural and world view of life. She had a love of travel, new places, and experiences. She was preceded in death by her, husband the late Earl McDaniel.
MS. PATRICIA VENITA “PURPLE PATTI” BOZEMAN, age 62, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Redmond Hospital, in Rome, Georgia. In accordance with Her wishes, since she was diagnosed with scleroderma over twenty years ago, her body was donated to science for research. Ms. Bozeman was born May 18, 1959, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, the late William Samuel Bozeman and brother, the late Wade Keith Bozeman.
Mrs. Angel Michelle (Humphrey) Reynolds age 45 of Summerville, GA passed away Monday- January 31, 2022 at Atrium Health- Floyd. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Mason Funeral Home- Summerville, GA.

A Henderson Road, Trion woman called the sheriff’s department after a fire destroyed a fence on her property. When a deputy arrived on the scene, the complainant said that a fire had started near the wood line on her property and showed the responding deputy the damage to the fence. The complainant said she had no idea how the fire started and estimated the damage to be around $1,000. The complainant asked for a report to be on file about the incident.
