The Chattooga County Animal Shelter is looking for help from the community to raise funds to make improvements to the living conditions for dogs at the shelter.  The openings for the dogs to access the outside area at the shelter are not covered.  The shelter is hoping to raise enough money for dog-accessible doors for the openings, so that the animals can go outside in the enclosed area as needed.  If you are able to help with a monetary donation, contact April Dempsey at the Chattooga County Animal Shelter at 706-857-0679.
