Gas Prices Increase Again

Georgia gas prices increased at the pump compared to a week ago. Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $1.90 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average is 11 cents more than a week ago, 24 cents more than last month, and 58 cents less than this time last year.

Floyd Generates $841.2 Million For Local, State Economies

The total economic impact of the Floyd health system on local and state economies is more than $841.2 million. That figure is based on a report from the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and data supplied by Cherokee Medical Center and the Alabama Hospital Association (ALAHA). Floyd also provides approximately $45.4 million in uncompensated care while generating approxi-mately 11,130 full-time health care-related jobs in northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama, in-cluding approximately 3,200 full-time positions within the Floyd health system.

Summerville Man Arrested At North Carolina Protest
