It costs drivers an average price of $43.50 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline. Georgians are paying almost $1 less to fill up at the pump than a month ago.

The annual Rome Christmas Parade will be held at 7 PM this evening in downtown Rome. Georgia has high average vehicle taxes, insurance costs, and maintenance fees. Although gas prices are relatively low, long commutes and limited public transport mean Georgians spend more on fuel, averaging over 17,500 miles driven per year, which is above the national average.
