A burglary over the weekend was reported at D&D Trailer on Highway 27 in Trion. The owner of D&D Trailer, Levi Dodd, discovered the break-in and provided crucial surveillance footage, leading to the identification of a man and a woman.
The burglary was reported Monday morning when Dodd contacted the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office to report the incident at his place of business, located on Highway 27 just before JBar Manufacturing. Dodd shared video images from the business’s surveillance cameras, capturing footage of the burglary.
Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader confirmed to WZQZ News on Monday afternoon that the burglars had taken a small amount of cash from the establishment. The sheriff emphasized that no equipment was stolen during the heist.
A short time later, Levi Dodd posted on social media that the Sheriff’s Office had suspects in custody, believed to be a man and a woman. Sheriff Schrader noted that the investigation is ongoing.
