Trion Rec Says Adult Basketball League is Full

The Trion Recreation Department says that all of the slots for their adult basketball league are full.  The rec department has scheduled a mandatory meeting for team captains and refs that will be held this Tuesday, July 18th at 6 PM.  The first game will be played on Thursday of this week at 6 PM.  The Trion Recreation Department says that brackets for the adult rec basketball teams will be posted in the upcoming days.

Vann House Days Set For This Saturday

Chattooga’s Legislators Receive Scores From Georgia Chamber

The Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the state’s largest and most influential business advocacy organization, has released its official 2023 Legislative Scorecard showcasing how members of the general assembly voted on the business community’s top issues during the legislative session.  Chattooga County had one lawmaker that received a “B” – the other received an “unacceptable” score from the state chamber of commerce.
