The Chattooga County FFA Dairy Team competed at the Apple Capital Livestock Show in Gilmer County at the Apple Capital Livestock Show this weekend and multiple Chattooga FFA members placed. Gracie Treadaway, a freshman at Chattooga High School took first place in showmanship and Mary Anna Bentley’s calf placed first in weight class. You can see all the results below:
Jayla Boyd (SMS, 6th) placed 3rd in showmanship, and her heifer had a 5th place in weight class.
Colter Jarrett (SMS, 7th) placed 3rd in showmanship, and his heifer had a 5th place in weight class.
Laci James (Lyerly, 6th) placed 4th in showmanship with a 3rd place finish in weight class.
Madelyn Eager (Lyerly, 6th) placed 5th in showmanship with a 6th place finish in weight class.
Lane Bridges (Menlo, 7th) had a 2nd place finish in showmanship.
Bryce Gazaway (Menlo, 8th) placed 5th in showmanship.
Gracie Treadaway (CHS, 9th) placed 1st in showmanship!
Mary Anna Bentley (CHS, 11th) made the cut in 11th grade Heat 2 showmanship, and her cal placed 1st in weight class!
Addie Bridges (CHS, 12th) placed 2nd in showmanship and had a 5th place finish in weight class!
