Voters in the City of Menlo will be deciding if the city becomes the second municipality in the county to approve the sale of packaged liquor.  Also, city voters will be voting in a contested mayoral race and a race for city council.

Longtime Menlo Mayor Theresa Canada is being challenged by local real estate agent Allan Keen.  Also, council seat two is open with two candidates running for the position – Beth Swords and Courtney Willingham.  The seat is being vacated by Cara Cabe who is moving outside the city limits.

Menlo City Clerk Jill Neal told WZQZ News that early voting got underway on Tuesday and will run through October 29th.  There will be two Saturdays for voters to cast their ballots – October 16th and October 23rd.  City residents can vote between the hours of 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday and from 8 AM until 5 PM on Saturdays.  Election Day is November 2nd.
