Georgia is participating in the ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign until January 1, 2025. This campaign aims to prevent drunk driving through education and strict enforcement of laws.

Statistics show that nearly 40 percent of passenger fatalities during the Christmas season from 2018-2022 involved drunk drivers. A DUI can cost an individual up to $10,000 in various expenses and could jeopardize their employment.

During the holiday season, AAA offers a ‘Tow-To-Go’ service for those who need safe transportation after drinking. This service is free for drivers and available for up to ten miles. It’s recommended to arrange a designated driver beforehand.
