The Georgia State Patrol is still investigating the death of a pastor who died in a fatal crash on Thursday.

The accident happened on Highway 100 near Worsham Road.  Forty-five-year-old Lavonne Humphrey was killed in the accident.

Humphrey was the former pastor of West Summerville Baptist Church in Chattooga County and was currently serving as a pastor in Floyd County.

The GBI says that another driver involved in the crash was taken to a Floyd County hospital and that charges may be pending against the other driver, once the accident report is complete.
