Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden in Chattooga County is closing the book on a successful 2025, highlighting a year of growth, creativity, and global interest at the iconic folk art site.
According to figures released by Paradise Garden, the attraction welcomed 7,593 visitors during 2025, including 2,408 guests for Finster Fest. The garden supported 93 artists, hosted 38 public programs and events, and welcomed visitors from 13 different countries, underscoring its international reach.
Garden leaders say the year was guided by core values of restoration, economic development, preservation, Finster-inspired creativity, and conservation. One of the most significant milestones of the year was the historic reopening of the World’s Folk Art Church, described as the top garden moment of 2025.
In a New Year message, organizers thanked supporters for their continued interest in Howard Finster’s legacy and Paradise Garden, noting that many efforts “added up nicely” over the past year. They say plans are already underway to build on that momentum in 2026 and invite the public to visit and experience the garden firsthand.
