A woman reported to Summerville Police that her wallet had been stolen out of her vehicle while she was parked at the Courthouse Annex last Tuesday.  According to a report released yesterday by the Summerville Police Department, a responding officer was able to obtain video footage of a man reaching into the vehicle and stealing the woman’s wallet.  The report goes on to say that the suspect had just left city court, shortly before the theft happened. The suspect in the video was identified as fifty-two-year-old David Lee Shepherd of a State Street, Summerville address. The incident was turned over to an investigator.
