The qualifying period will run from Monday, August 18, 2025, through Friday, August 22, 2025. During this time, individuals interested in serving the community can qualify for the following key positions:

All qualifying procedures will take place at Summerville City Hall, located at 120 Georgia Ave, Summerville, GA. City officials have designated daily qualifying hours to accommodate candidates:

  • Morning Session: 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Afternoon Session: 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Candidates are reminded that qualifying fees are required to be placed on the ballot. The fee for mayoral candidates is set at $216.00, while those seeking a City Council seat will pay $108.00.
