A twenty-nine-year-old Rome woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly possessing a lot of drugs while two children were living in the house.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 29-year old Michelle Carol Douglas received a package containing 28 grams of liquid methamphetamine at her Rockcreek Drive home.

During the execution of a search warrant, authorities found more than ten pounds of marijuana inside of a suitcase and a five-gallon bucket.

Douglas is charged with 1st-degree cruelty to children, possession of meth, felony possession of marijuana, trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of meth with the intent to distribute.
