Annual Spring Clean Up Week in Summerville is going on through Friday May 5th.

Residents are encouraged to clean up around their properties.  They are being asked by the city to separate junk from regular yard debris and to set it by the curb for pickup.  There is no need to call for pickup; the city will be running routes regularly this week to pick up items.

There are some things that the city cannot accept: hazardous materials, paint, batteries, contractor waste and tires.
