An Armuchee resident’s two-month ordeal took a partial turn for the better recently when her stolen Kubota cab tractor was successfully recovered. However, the search continues for a valuable Landpride batwing Bush Hog that was taken with it from the Floyd Springs area in July, with owner Darlene Floyd Shore now offering a significant reward for its return.

Shore reported the theft of her Kubota cab tractor and an accompanying brush cutter from the Floyd Springs area this past summer. While the recovery of the tractor brings considerable relief, the large Landpride 15-foot batwing Bush Hog remains missing.

Shore expressed her relief at the tractor’s return but emphasized the continued search for the brush cutter. “Well, it’s been almost two months since our tractor went missing!” Shore said. “Although we did recover the tractor, we feel like whoever took the Batwing 15-foot Bush Hog has sat on it long enough to maybe bring it out and start using it.”

Shore believes the brush cutter may have been hidden for a period and could now be put into use. She suspects it remains in the vicinity of Foster Manning Road in Chattooga County.

To aid in its recovery, Shore is offering a substantial $2,500.00 reward for information leading to the return of the Landpride batwing Bush Hog.

Anyone with information regarding the stolen brush cutter is urged to contact the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department. Your tip could lead to the recovery of this valuable piece of equipment and a significant reward.
