The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced a temporary closure of the right southbound lane and shoulder of I-75 for essential maintenance work on Monday, August 25. Weather permitting, the closure will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Motorists traveling southbound on I-75 should anticipate delays as GDOT maintenance crews work on the stretch between mileposts 291 and 289. This approximately two-mile section will see the rightmost lane and adjacent shoulder closed to facilitate necessary repairs.
