A Cave Spring woman is facing Jail time after she reportedly threw “more than warm” coffee on the victim.

 According to Cave Spring Police, 33-year old Cassie Hendrix of a Park Street address threw the coffee on the victim’s back and neck causing redness of the skin, broke multiple glass items during the altercation, and allegedly digested some of the victim’s Xanax.  Hendrix is charged with Battery FVA, Criminal trespass, Cruelty to person 65-years or older, and theft by taking.

She was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Monday night of this week.
