­Troy Fredrick Varnado, of Rome, was arrested in Rome Friday after he allegedly threw a brick at a woman, striking her in the arm.

Reports said that Varnado caused the woman “great bodily harm”.

The incident occurred at a home on Walter Street back on November 6, 2016.

Reports continued that Varnado also put a hole in the victim’s wall before pushing her to the ground. The incident occurred in front of a minor child.

Authorities added that Varnado has previously been banned from the location.

Varnado is charged with aggravated assault, two counts of criminal trespass, simple battery and cruelty to children.
