About 1000 Chattooga County voters are expected to take advantage of early voting by 5 p.m. Friday, July 27. That's when early voting shuts down in the county.

As of 10 a.m. on Wednesday 925 Chattooga Countians had voted early. There are 13,000  registered voters in Chattooga County.

Any who would like to vote early can do so at the Chattooga County Registrar's Office on Commerce Street in downtown Summerville between now and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m each day.

The Primary Election is July 31.
