A 17-year-old died Saturday night in a Catoosa County wreck. Jesse Tyler Clark was driving on Alabama Highway when he passed another vehicle on a double yellow line, according to Georgia State Patrol reports.

After the pass, he over-corrected and the pickup truck went into an uncontrolled spin, traveled down an embankment and rolled. Clark was a Heritage High School student.

A passenger in the vehicle, 19-year-old Dakota Basham, was injured but left the scene. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
