A 19-year-old Rome man is in jail on charges of robbery, terroristic threats and acts and criminal trespass.

Police said in Floyd County Jail reports that Austin Taylor Smith snatched a cell phone from a woman at a Turner McCall Boulevard location.  He also went to a Dollar General on Fifth Avenue after he had been banned from the property and threatened employees when confronted.
