A 20-year old Rome woman was jailed late Monday on a felony charge of exploitation of an elderly person.

According to arrest warrants on file at the Floyd County Jail, Meghan Elizabeth Ingalsbe, of a Paris Drive address, forged checks belonging to an 80-year old woman.

Ingalsbe is also charged with 4th degree forgery for allegedly forging the victim’s signature to a $160 check and depositing it into her own checking account via ATM.
