Georgia gas prices continue to decline at the pump compared to a week ago. Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $3.87 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average was 8 cents less than a week ago, 27 cents more than last month and $1.16 more than this time last year.

Dalton Woman Convicted For Murder Of Husband

On March 31, 2022, a Catoosa County jury convicted Belinda Lopez for the murder of her husband after a four day trial before Chief Judge Kristina Cook Graham. Lopez, 43, was convicted of one count of malice murder, one count of felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of possession of firearm during the commission of a felony, after less than 3 hours of deliberations by the jury.
