The City of Summerville will be hosting a mini-Renaissance Festival coming up next month, on Saturday October 14th. The festival will take place at Dowdy Park from 11 AM until 5 PM, and admission is free.

The Summerville Mini Renaissance Festival offers chivalry, romance, and a rollicking good time! Centrally located in Summerville’s J. R. “Dick ” Dowdy Park. This festival will delight and amaze all ages. Enjoy live entertainment, shopping, art, games and a feast fit for a King! Free admission. Come dressed in character or just to enjoy! An additional attraction is the arrival of the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum Steam Engine and the working of the Summerville Turntable at 1PM
