Abandoned Car Damaged At Fairway Recreation Center

Summerville Police were called to Fairway Recreation Center on February 18th about damage to a vehicle that was parked there.  According to a report released yesterday, George Ware told a responding officer that his son’s car was left there because it needed repairs and they had not returned to get it.  Mr. Ware, who lives across the street from the recreation center, said that someone was seen in the parking lot of the recreation center “doing burnouts and donuts”.  A possible suspect was identified.  The complainant said that he believed that glass that was shattered on the disabled vehicle was from the actions of the person he identified.
