On Tuesday a Lyerly woman reported that a large propane tank was stolen from her yard. According to the report, the woman said the 250 gallon talk was next to her driveway. She also told Chattooga County Sheriff's deputies that someone had entered the residence. According to the report the home was entered by taking a screen off a rear window and climbing through. A lock on a sliding glass door also was broken and a hasp on a garage door cut and removed. The incident was turned over to investigators.
