No serious winter weather is expected for Chattooga County.  However, Chattooga County EMA Director Eddie Henderson said that Robert Garcia with the National Weather Service said that we could see some winter weather in the form of snow showers tonight.  Henderson said that the National Weather Service said that we should be back above the freezing mark by 10AM -11AM on Friday morning.   There could be some icing on bridges and overpasses Friday morning.

Today: A chance of drizzle, then a chance of rain after 7am. Cloudy, with a high near 52. West wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tonight: A chance of snow showers before 1am, then a slight chance of flurries. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 23. West wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 41. West wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 21. West wind between 10 and 15 mph becoming calm. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 49. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.
