CALHOUN, Ga. — Sheriff Mitch Ralston and City Police Chief Garry Moss show the methamphetamine

A man was arrested the morning of Friday, March 4 after a deputy sheriff found two pounds of processed crystal methamphetamine in a large appliance at J&J Transmission on Richardson Road.

According to the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office:

A deputy sheriff was attempting to execute a civil arreSst when he encountered one Tracy Lee Teague at the business.

The deputy found the meth when searching the business for the defendant named in the arrest order. The report states that the meth has a $40,000 street value.

A pistol with a scratched off serial number was also found at the business, according to the report.

The Calhoun City Police assisted in the follow up investigation.

Teague was charged with the Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and remains at the Gordon County Jail.
