Four of Chattooga County’s exceptional 4H Students recently attended a Youth Summit with the Governor of Georgia and they were one of only three groups statewide chosen to present their project at the summit. Two students from Chattooga High School, Matthew Pace and Melissa Maynard, and two students from Trion High School, Kaylen Hamby and Victoria Hall, chose as their topic – "Rural Development and Customer Service."

Chattooga County Extension Agent Rebecca Thomas said that the four had to come up with the topic on their own without any input from her or the adult supervisors.  The four students are scheduled to present their program at tonight’s Chattooga County Commissioner’s meeting at 5 PM at the Chattooga County Courthouse Annex.
