The popular 4L Rodeo returns to give area residents some action and excitement tonight and tomorrow night.

Hosted at Charlie and Wanda Lowry’s covered arena off Hwy. 27 south of Summerville, the event promises seven fast-paced rodeo events featuring some of the top cowboys and cowgirls in the Southeastern Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association circuit.

Featured events will be bareback and saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, team roping, barrel racing and of course bull riding.

The 4L Ranch Home Rodeo will take place May 20 and 21 at the Lowry Arena on Farmersville Road, just off Hwy. 27 south of Summerville. Gates open each night at 6 p.m. The events begin at 8 p.m.
