The Coosa Valley Fair marks the beginning of Fall for the residents of the Coosa Valley including Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama.
Known as “Fall’s Finest Festival”, the fair has been sponsored by the Exchange Club of Rome continuously since its founding in 1949. For several years, the Coosa Valley Fair has made contributed to each school in the Floyd County and Rome school systems. This money is designated to purchase supplies for each school’s art program.
Additionally, the fair pays out over $20,000 each year in premiums and ribbons to people who enter personal exhibits ranging from livestock to flowers, as well as the recognition and the opportunity to showcase their talent. This year, the fair will have some new events, featuring ride armband specials, kids tractor pull, chainsaw carvings, an escape room, and more.
