Hundreds of teens wearing blue corduroy jackets were gathered in Macon, Georgia for the state’s 94th FFA Convention over the past weekend.

FFA chapters from across the Peach State were encouraged to conduct community service projects in their local communities this spring, and share their stories with the Georgia FFA on social media.

The Georgia FFA Association held a Career & Trade Show during the convention. A wide range of agricultural representatives were on hand to exhibit to over 6,000 students and advisors across the state while attending the two-day show. The Career & Trade Show is an opportunity to network with Georgia’s emerging student leaders and to recruit business, industry, or collegiate programs.

The Summerville Middle School FFA Vice President Logan Lewis got the chance to walk across stage this weekend and receive a plaque for Summerville Middle School FFA being named a Georgia Gold Emblem Chapter. The award is given to the top 39 chapters in Georgia based on their students work in their chapter and community.
