Mrs. Carolyn Dee Dykes, age 75, of Gaylesville, AL, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Dykes was born August 31, 1945, in Kingsville, TX, daughter of the late Jessie Doyle and Mildred Garner Ramsey.  She was a homemaker and a member of Dry Valley Baptist Church.  Mrs. Dykes was previously a member of Prague First Baptist Church for 21 years where she served as a pianist and choir member as well as the church secretary.  She was a devout Christian who loved and served others her whole life.  She loved with her whole heart, especially her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dykes was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, John Dykes; sons, Rob (Michelle) Dykes, Richard Dykes; daughter, Rhonda (Greg) Seaton; a brother, Jack Ramsey; sister, Elaine (Lee) Lawley; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. (E.S.T.) Friday, August 13, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Weaver and Rev. Lee Hickman officiating.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Mason Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. (E.S.T.) until the hour of service on Friday.
