Friday night football is back on the air tonight as Chattooga travels to Gordon Central and Trion hosts Southeast Whitfield.

Both Chattooga and Trion kicked off their region schedules last week at home with one win and one loss.  After starting the season 0-2, the Chattooga Indians have now won two games in a row and they have a 1-0 region record thanks to their 49-21 victory over Model last week.    The Indians will go on the road tonight to Gordon Central and will be looking for their third win in a row.  Gordon Central is still searching for their first victory of the season as they currently sit at 0-5 overall and 0-1 in region play.

The Trion Bulldogs took a tough loss last Friday night at home against a very talented Bowdon team 35-13.  The loss was Trion’s first of the year and they currently sit at 4-1 on the season.  The Bulldogs will look to get back on track tonight on Homecoming night against a non-region opponent in SE Whitfield.  SE Whitfield is 1-5 on the year with their only win coming against Gordon Central who will be playing Chattooga tonight.

Both the Trion and Chattooga games will be broadcast live on the WZQZ Facebook page.  The Chattooga vs Gordon Central game will also be broadcast live on 99.1 FM and AM 1180.  Join WZQZ’s Barry Peppers for the Indians play-by-play action tonight.  Ben Groce and Jeremy Burke will call the action from Trion.  Both pregame shows will begin at 7pm with kickoff to follow at 7:30pm.
