Mrs. Doris Marie Haney Agnew, age 69, of Trion, GA, died Friday, October 15, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Agnew was born May 3, 1952, in Summerville, GA, daughter of Hester “Faye” Reynolds Haney and the late Walter Haney.  She was a homemaker and a member of Old Way Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, David Tracy Agnew;  son, Michael Visage; daughter, Destiny Johnson; mother, Faye Haney; brothers, Walter Eugene “Butch” Haney, Ronnie Haney; sisters, Jan Oliver, Joyce Reynolds, Sandra Gentry, and Margie Miller.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at West Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Thompson officiating.  Pallbearers will be Joseph Johnson, Pat Miller, Dekoda Hendrix, Johnny Organ, Charles Gentry, and Bobby Agnew.

Mrs. Agnew will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:30 P.M. Tuesday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
