Mrs. Alyce “Lynn” Hammond Chamlee, age 79 of Cartersville, GA (formerly of Trion) passed away Thursday- October 21, 2021, at Maple Ridge Healthcare.

 Mrs. Chamlee was born September 27, 1942, in Trion, GA to the late James H. & Irma J. McDaniel Hammond. She was retired from the law firm of Bobby Lee Cook, was a life-long member of Trion First Baptist church, and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Club.

 Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Chamlee; brother, Jimmy Hammond; and sisters, Jo Shamblin and Sandy Campbell.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Chamlee; children, Chuck (Sue) Chamlee and Tammy Griffith; sisters, Nona (Bennett) Whipple, and Mona Dilbeck;  grandchildren, Adam, Jeremy, & Elizabeth Chamlee,  Tripp Griffith and Traci (Yale) Newman; & 7 great- grandchildren.

 A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Chamlee will be held at 2:00 Saturday- October 30, 2021 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 – 2:00 at the funeral home.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or Pine Log United Methodist Church.
